Summer Showers!!

In the summer we spend alot of our time at the pool, and what we have been doing for the past year is when we get home one of us jumps into the shower with all the kids. It takes about five minutes to clean everybody up verses 25 minutes if they were to do it on their own. Well, I usually am the one that gets in and once their clean I throw them to Gabe to dry them and help them get dressed. This was one time Gabe got in with them. He was having a very hard time holding onto Reyse. She is like a greased pig and wants to keep slipping away from you. It was hilarious to watch him struggle. The older girls were not in with him because they were mad at him for some reason and wanted to wait and get in with me.
Don't worry he always has a swimsuit on!!
RINSE!
This was too funny, Gabe keeps calling her pitbull, I don't know why. She does krinkle her nose at us alot, but Gabe is always trying to butt heads with her, and she tries to give it back to him.

24 hours till First day of School!!

Sunday night we started to gear up for school on Monday morning. Everyone decided that they wanted haircuts. Payge got about 4-5 inches cut, Taytum got about 6 six inches cut, and Baylee got about 4-5 inches cut as well. So I took them all out in the back yard and started wacking. Not to bad if I do say so my self!!

The back shot, pretty even!
That night we had to get them in to bed early and they were being a little onory about it. Gabe was laying with Payge to help her go to sleep. Well, Baylee and Taytum kept laughing at each other, and Gabe told them to be quite or one of them is going to get sent out. Taytum thought she would be funny and said, "Well, why don't you just get out of here!" Gabe picked her and her pillow up and made her go into the play room(extra bedroom) by herself in the dark, with the door closed. Well the rest of the girls could hear the crying and pleading. Gabe informed Baylee that she had to take some of the responsibility for why Taytum was in there. That made Baylee feel real bad. Gabe left the room and about an hour later went to check on them, and found them all on the floor with Taytum. They didn't want their sister to be alone. Gabe was real proud of Baylee for caring about Taytum. I hope they always look out for each other!!
First Day of School!! I thought they would be tired from the night before but they were up bright and early!
Baylee goes into third grade, and Taytum is in first.
I helped Taytum get settled in at her desk, with her snack for later, of course.

Move over Jonas Brothers!

The Jonas Brothers better watch there backs, because the Trinidad Sisters are practicing up a storm. Taytum is usually the one on the keyboard, but it wasn't working that day. Reyse wants in on the action too.
If I had to hear Kelly Clarkson sing, "Break Away" one more time I was going to loose my mind!!
Multi talented as well!!
There's Taytum rockin vocals!!
Don't forget choreography!

Payge just likes to let loose!
SHAKE IT!
They started off with a nice Duet!
Those high notes hurt a little.

Reyse's Summer Fun!!!(with food)

When we left for our summer vacation Reyse was eight months old and ate only baby cereal and baby food three times a day. Wow, things changed quickly as soon as we got to the Gramies and grandmas and Nana's. Food Galore and everyone thought it was great fun to give her food that she had never had before. By the time we got back and she was nine and a half months old she ate her baby oatmeal cereal in the morning but that was it. Table food only please. Here are some of the highlights.
Reyse got a hold(on her own) a bag of english muffins and went to town.
This was her absolute favorite which we had at least three times a week,
SMORES!!!!

A couple of oreo cookies(minis) !!!

WATERMELON!!
Chips, thanks Gramie
Fruit, one of my favorites
There are plenty that I didn't get pictures of like Otter pops, hamburger pie, ice cream, brownies, I think she has gained three pounds in a week. She is a great eater, and don't worry she only gets the treats occasionally.

Soccer Season Begins!

I thought we would have a few weeks of just practice until games started, that was not the case. As soon as we got home Baylee's club soccer team wanted her to play in tournaments before the real season started.

This is Baylee's first year on a select soccer club called Solar. They are a nationally ranked club, and produce some great players. She is also on her recreation team through the city. We will be very busy on Saturdays.

This is also Payge's first year of rec soccer, but her season starts in a couple of weeks, so I will post pics then.
Baylee did great. She is on the Solar Silver team, but for this tournament the Solar Gold team invited her to play with them. She was pretty flattered to play with them.
This is Baylee and her twin Avery in the background!
Stop pushing my baby!!
GO BAYLEE!!!
Baylee is trying to line herself in for a goal, she didn't quite make it but they still won anyways.
Baylee in a crowd of blue!
Get her Baylee!!
Taytum entertains the rest of the group with stories and dolls.

New member of the Family

On the last day of kindergarten we allowed Taytum to put her name in the drawing to bring home a class fish,(thinking what are the chances, 20 kids, three fish). But of course, she won. By the time we got it home changed it's water three times because the kids kept feeding it I wasn't surprised when I heard the words, " Percy's Dead!!!" at eight the next morning. I convinced her to wait to get a new one until we got home from vacation, "Dad will forget to feed it and kill it anyway."
As soon as we got home we got DIAMOND. We were going to get another goldfish, but the lady at Petco told me that it is considered inhumane to keep a gold fish in just a bowl of water. WHAT? maybe that is why none of mine lasted very long as a kid. Oh well. So we got a beta fish instead, their prettier anyways. Of course Taytum got a purple one. So far it's still alive. It is really allot of fun. She sits on the kitchen counter and watches me cook. Every time you go to the bowl or talk to her her little fins go so fast, just like a little puppy dog wagging it's tail. Even Gabe thinks it's pretty cool. He's the only one that calls it a he though.

Swimming Lessons!

As soon as we got back into town the girls started swimming lessons. Baylee moved up into level four, where she worked on her backstroke and freestyle. She was awesome!!

The last day they got to have fun on the diving board. hey were trying to encourage her to dive. She tried once but it ended up a belly flop. So she went with the cannonball!
Payge getting a five from her teacher!
Payge's instructors had to keep telling her to stay above the water, she would tell them, "but I like going under water!"
Taytum had a hard time not holding her nose every time she went under the water, she's a pretty fast swimmer considering she only uses one arm.
It is hard to float on your back when you have no body fat. Her legs kept sinking while she paddled her arms. Poor Taytum!

Home at last!

No matter where you live, or how you live, it is always good to be home. It is amazing how excited I was to go on vacation and get away from the cleaning, cooking, cleaning, cooking, cleaning, and cooking. Then you start to miss it after seven weeks. I was ready to get back to my routine, and most definitely my bed, especially after a three hour flight turned into a seven hour flight. The people on the plane were very nice feeling very sorry for me traveling alone with four children. There was a wonderful stewardess who had been trying to have a girl for four years, and she fell in love with Reyse. After three hours of trying to get this baby to go to sleep unsuccessfully, she asked if she could hold her, I think I handed her the baby before she even finished her sentence. Fifteen minutes later she came over to me with Reyse asleep in her arms. THANK GOODNESS. She slept on the stewardess for half an hour or so and as soon as she handed her back to me she immediately woke up. What is up with that!!!

I think three weeks for Gabe on his own was a little to long too. He kept walking around the house for several days after we returned saying, "the house is alive again," and that he was getting tired of the creepy silence at night. He missed Family time so much he insisted we take a walk after dinner to the park, it was fun to be together again, and to have help!!

The Tupperware cupboard is Reyse's favorite spot while I cook or do dishes. The best part is my little OCD Taytum loves to organize the Tupperware so she likes to clean up after Reyse. YAH!!
Guess What my Baby is walking. She had taken a step at my mom's house before we left, but now she takes lots! GO REYSE!!!
AHHHH....I made it!!!
Thank you to everyone who invited all of us into your homes. We are a big group and tend to explode as soon as the suitcases are unzipped. Thanks for all the great food and loads of fun I truly appreciate everything you do for us!!!

Fun at Gramies!

My parents recently retired to Cedar City UT. I love staying there. They built their dream house up in a secluded development, that is a little over an acre. They have beautiful views of Cedar breaks, and designed the house so it's all about the view! I mentioned we go to the Shakespeare festival with all my cousins, we use to go to four but have widdled it down to two for more visiting time. That doesn't bother my mom and I. We still get all our plays in, after they leave. My mother volunteers for the festival so she gets some free vouchers for us to go. We saw wonderful plays. I love going with my mom, she is such a wealth of information she tells me everything about the plays. My dad is the best he puts all the kids to bed for me so I can enjoy a little time out. THANKS DAD, YOUR THE BEST!!!
We had to get a few pics with Shakespeare himself.
This is their balcony, we spent alot of time out their especially making smores, which are my favorite. Next year I will get better pics of the beautiful view.
Gramie and her girls!!
Reyse loved my dad and was always around him, their little puppy was not thrilled. He was fine when she was on the ground, but as soon as he picked her up the puppy had to be in his lap as well.
Thanks mom and dad for putting up with me and my brood. We have so much fun. I can't wait to invade you again next year!
